Hello everyone,

It really is a pleasure to finally welcome you to the first episode of the sixth season of The Bordel de Mer.

I’m happy to be with you again today, but I must admit I’m also quite nervous after a year of silence…

So, why have I been so silent for the past year? I know some of you have told me that I didn’t have to justify myself, but I feel I do, at least partially.

But after a year taking care of me, I’ve regain my energy and looking back the past 10 years doing the show in French, I feel I have the energy to do another 10 years of the show!

In this episode:

  • L’harmonica (Les Ouf du Dyjau – CD: En Allant À La Grève – Lyrics: Henri Jacques / Music: Traditional)
  • Farouche d’Irlande (Bâbord-Tribord – CD: Paroles de copains – Lyrics: Sylvain De Grasse / Music: Dan Grall)
  • Barrett’s privateers (Brise-Glace – CD: Brise-Glace – Lyrics and Music: Stan Rogers)
  • Blow the man down (Strand Hugg – CD: Un port / Export – French lyrics: Claude Rayon / Music: Traditional)
  • Erie Canal (Shantycrew Kreuzberg – CD: Shantycrew Kreuzberg – Lyrics and Music: Thomas S. Allen)
  • Gavotte des îles / Gavotte de l’estran (Hervé Guillemer et Hélène Fournier – CD: Au Bal des Embruns – Lyrics and Music: Hervé Guillemer)
  • Henry The Accountant (Bob Walser – CD: Landlocked – Lyrics and Music: Paul Kaplan)
  • Roep de kapitein (Drijfhout – CD: Hout Vaart – Lyrics and Music: Nils Koster)
  • Fire Maringo (The Johnson Girls – CD: On The Rocks – Lyrics: Traditional / Music: Royston Wood)

Have a great week!
