The Bordel de Mer – episode 032

January 22, 2012

Hello everyone!

Chances are that you heard about the bills SOPA and PIPA that were supposed to be presented to the US senate next week…

If those bills become laws, it will have a direct impact on The Bordel de Mer… I don’t know yet how much impact it could have on the show, but the risk that I’ll have to close it is present. I don’t think we should worry too much at the moment, but I wanted to keep you informed… And we’ll see from week to week…

To know more about SOPA and PIPA, I suggest reading the Wikipedia page on the subject.

On this episode, you will hear:

  • Les Filles du Golfe du Morbiha (Sacrée Bordée – CD: Aux Filles du Golfe et d’ailleurs – Words and Music: Nicolas Guéguen)
  • Le 15 De Janvier 1929 (Caroline Desbiens – CD: Chansons Sur Toiles – Words and Music: Traditional)
  • John Kanaka (Stan Hugill and Stormalong John – CD: Chants De Marins anglais – Words and Music: Traditional)
  • Noah Built the Ark (The Johnson Girls – CD: On The Rocks – Words and Music: Traditional)
  • Kattalin (Euzkadi – CD: Chants Des marins d’Europe – Words and Music: Traditional)
  • Dark Island (Seyl & Treyl – CD: Demo – Words and Music: David Silver et Ian MacLaughlan)
  • L’Ankou Marin (Michel Tonnerre – CD: Ti-Beudeff – Words and Music: Michel Tonnerre)
  • L’ankou des marins (Daniel Grall – CD: Chansons Marines – Words and Music: Daniel Grall)
  • Rendez-vous avec l’Ankou (Kalffa – CD: La Déferlante – Lyrics: David Chaumont et Idaline Lopes / Music: Ludovic Dagobert)
